Road Safety talk a big hit with Y5/6

At a recent meeting, members of the Safety Squad enquired about the possibility of inviting different speakers and presenters into school to discuss aspects of personal and community safety with children. 

We were delighted to welcome Sophie from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service to discuss some basic rules around road safety with our Y5 / Y6 pupils. One of the points that children found particularly interesting, and for parents to consider, was the need to continue to use a booster seat until children are 135cm tall or 12 years old.
