PTA Summer Family Fun Afternoon

Huge thanks to all who supported our Family Fun Day, especially the PTA Committee for putting together the event, Connecting Chelford for providing lovely scones and cream, Y6 pupils for running stalls and independent stall holders for lending their time and supporting the event. 

Also a huge thanks to staff who helped to set up stalls, build football goals, prepare Y6 pupils and for helping to tidy away - a wonderful team effort!

Visitors enjoyed a browsing a number of stalls and playing the games led by our Y6 pupils. Mr Scarterfield was also on hand to lead a special samba workshop - we thank all of those who volunteered. Finally, thanks to all the parents and children who participated in the Parents v Children football match, which saw the children triumph on penalties! The match was played in a fantastic spirit and it was a joy to see so many players and spectators laughing! A special mention to Gautam (Y4) who scored the goal of the match!

Family Fun Afternoon further illustrated the wonderful support that families and members of the wider community continue to provide Chelford CE Primary and Governors and all members of staff are highly appreciative!
