Great Chelford Bake Off - Week 5: Mince Pies

Our Great Chelford Bake Off 2023 competition reached the grand finale today with children submitting their final bakes for judges' scrutiny. 

Scoring an impressive 9/10, Rose (Y5) was crowned this week's Star Baker and took home a trophy in recognition of her success. 

With all the bakes submitted and scores counted, for the first time ever, the competition has been tied and therefore Charlie (Y6) and Ellie (Y6) have the honour of being crowned joint Great Chelford Bake Off winners for 2023. Both scored a tremendous 41 points over the 5 week competition. 

We hope that all pupils and families who entered have enjoyed taking part and submitting their weekly bakes. We also thank our judges: Jacob, Alice, Olivia PW, Jess, and Finley and of course our resident expert Helen (chef) for their support.
