Class 2 - dragons!

We were thrilled to receive a delivery from our friend and artist Hilly Kerr, who returned to school to pass on pupils’ final ceramic Chinese dragons, which had been produced over the course of several weeks. Regular newsletter readers will recall how children had previously moulded their dragons from clay before pieces entered the kiln for their first biscuit firing. After this, glazes were applied and pieces were returned to the kiln for the final firing. We are absolutely overwhelmed with the breathtaking results - a really impressive body of work as you can see from the images below.
